Mountaineering
Nepal is best known in the world for its highest mountains and mountaineering activities. Nowhere else on the earth one can find such a cluster of highest snow-capped mountains above 8000m in one country. Nepal is the home to world’s eight highest peaks over 8,000 metres including Mt. Everest (8848m) Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Makalu (8463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Manaslu (8163m) & Mt. Annapurna (8091m) and innumerable six thousand meters peaks. After successfully climbing to Mt. Everest (8848m) by Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgey Sherpa on 29th May 1953, Nepal became increasingly popular for climbing activity in the world. Nepal has lured a lot of climbers every year. Himalayan Glimpse Adventure is an active member of the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and affiliated with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) to operate all Nepal Himalaya expeditions. We provide trained, qualified, and experienced climbing Sherpa guides to ensure the safety and success of expeditions in Nepal. Since our establishment, we have been arranging numerous International expedition groups with the support of our licensed climbing Sherpa and other logistical support.
