Pisang Peak (6091m) is considered one of the difficult among the trekking peaks in Nepal. It lies in the world famous trekking route of Annapurna Circuit. The main trail to the peak starts from Upper Pisang Village through bare woods and pastures to a Kharka at 4380 m. which is considered the best place to pitch the base camp. High camp is set up at 5400 m climbing to a shoulder on the south west ridge. Above High camp there is a well-defined route up to the top of the peak. This section is very technical and hard. After the summit is we follow the same route up to the base camp. The summit provides great views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges. After completion of Pisang Peak climbing we trek to Thorung La pass (5416 m), through Manang and Ledar, both these places are the main attractions of whole Annapurna Circuit trek. Due to the difficulties of crossing the pass, we need to walk day to day slowly to gain higher altitude in a counter clockwise direction. This way our trek will be easier and safer. After crossing the Thorung La pass we trek to the Muktinath and then return to Jomsom and next day take flight to Pokhara.
