Mt. Everest, the highest Peak in the world, lies in the central Nepal, on the border of Nepal and Tibet. The peak was first climbed on May 29, 1953 by Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay from Nepal and reached the summit top of the world. These courageous climbers ascended Everest Base Camp from the Khumbu glacier and continued their ascent to the summit via the South East Ridge. This route thereafter has become the most popular route to climb Mt. Everest. Then in 1975 the first woman, Ms. Junko Tabei from Japan summitted Everest successfully via. the South East Ridge route.
We take a flight to Lukla -gateway to Everest region and begin our expedition up to Everest base camp. We set up the first camp at base camp at the elevation of 5500m at the foot of the Khumbu Icefall before making our climb to Camp 1 at 6210m. After Camp 1 we climb to Camp 2 at 6600m via the Western CWM, up the Lhotse face to Camp 3 at 7205m. Ultimately, we climb up the South Col. to Camp 4 at 8000m before making our summit at 8,848m (29,029 ft).
